The Children’s Museum of Houston relocated in 1992 to an iconic building designed by Robert Venturi. The move prompted a new identity based on the building facade. Inventing an additional series of icons, or “kit of parts,” Minor Design Group created a flexible, mix-and-match system for print and signage materials. Signs, newsletters, banners, calendars, programs, T-shirts and a myriad of other forms continue to use the simple, joyful shapes and colors.
